Description: So, i was at a conference a while ago, and the VERY smart people at the conference (nobel laureates, ceos, politicians, writers) were talking about solutions to fix the myriad problems facing our species; health care, deforestation, climate change, antibiotic resistance, etc etc. And i said, ‘um, why not just stop using animals for food?’ And I was basically told, ‘yeah, that would work, but there’s no way to make money from it…’. Which was, um, a very disheartening thing to hear, that these geniuses were prioritizing profits over solutions. In turn it inspired this piece of ridiculousness with me and Lindsey Hicks. Because sometimes the best response to the ridiculous and the tragic is to put on a cow costume, state the obvious, and do terrible interpretive dance.
